Absolutely top-tier experience, especially in these times when specialized electronics stores are few and far between. The inventory here is specifically curated for professionals—installers, networking pros, and data center staff will find everything they need. Customer service is exceptional; a special shoutout to Drew, who was incredibly knowledgeable and proactive in helping me find exactly the right components. If you're in the industry, this place is a one-stop shop for high-quality parts and unparalleled expertise. Highly recommended.

You'll be hard pressed to find exactly what you need in a store, if what you need is a set of specific resistors or capacitors. These guys have it, one of the last remaining bastions. And they are decent people too. Love it. Wish I had one back home.

Had to get some memory for a really old computer right as the store was about to close. The staff was super friendly, informative and patient with me.

My husband visited this location after searching multiple places for fiber wire and connections. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. On the first day, Ken assisted him, he was engaging and very helpful. The following day, Jeremy Miller helped us, and we cannot say enough about his outstanding service. Jeremy quickly found solutions and has continued to be an incredible resource for locating very specific products. Thanks to Jeremy, Altex has become our go-to for computer accessories. Fantastic service that truly goes above and beyond!

Friendly staff and plenty to choose from, nice to have a shop like this nearby instead of relying on online shopping with the additional wait.

If I could give more stars I would. I recently had an issue with my computer, and it was not a simple issue. The contacts inside the charging port had been arcing, and had charred, no longer allowing recharge. The battery was completely out, so getting the model was not possible. I met with Adam McWilliams, and he was able to give me an excellent option to resolve the issue. He determined it was a Microsoft Surface Book 2, with a detachable screen that can also act as a tablet. Replacing the port would mean replacing the full circuit board, which would not be cost effective. Adam noticed a USBC port that I thought was an output. He researched and found it was actually a secondary charging port. He Suggested trying a new charger on the USBC port, and it did the trick!!! Adam along with Jeremy Miller were the miracle I needed. I would highly recommend this store and these guys for your next computer issue!!!! Excellent Service all the way around!

I love shopping here. They have such a wide selection of individual components, which you don't really see from brick-and-mortar retailers anymore. I do have to bounce between this location & the Watauga location from time to time, but that has to do with me needing fairly niche products that hardly anyone else has.
